What blueprints are for
On a Research Lab card, the purple “1 / 1” cost is the blueprint. You need it on top of Research Points and the material:
- Turrets: every turret past the Base Turret needs its blueprint (see turrets).
- Some mods (the stronger proc and utility ones, such as Gravity Bomb, Live Wire, Vampiric and Stay) show the same extra cost ⚠️.
- Weapons: players list the Sniper among the blueprints they’re missing.
Where to find them
- Points of interest (POIs) on each planet. Players describe them as pulling levers or doing parkour through glowing rings to open a vault. In the footage, a prompt read “Pull lever to open crate.”
- Shrines, side activities and challenges that Octopus Panic added before the demo, with rewards for finishing them.
- Quiz terminals like the Suitability Assessment also guard rewards.
The Star Map tells you how many blueprints each planet has and updates when you collect them. A finished planet says All Blueprints Collected.
“0 blueprints remain”
That message means the planet is done. In the Steam thread “Can you get all blueprints?”, a player who finished the campaign three times said they had nothing left to collect but still had locked turret upgrades (MLRS, Arclight, Lancer), the sniper, and mods (Live Wire, Gravity Bomb). Another player called it an Early Access or demo limit, not a bug. Players are also asking for a respec option. We’ll update this page if Octopus Panic answers.
Solo tips
- Most POIs work solo. A few puzzles are meant for groups, so expect to miss some blueprints there.
- Build turrets before you go POI hunting. The swarm escalates while you’re away from the base.
- Check the Star Map before dropping and pick a planet with blueprints left.
